Warrenbri Hope to raise money for Cancer Research in 2009 Magic Millions Yearling Sale...

From a young cheeky colt to a prize winning show horse, the story of A Stockman and a Horse Named 'Hope' has been a journey full of hard work, dedication and accomplishment. Australian Outback Spectacular's Assistant Horse Master, Brett Welsh and 'Hope', as he has affectionately become known, are in their final stages of preparation before they face their last challenge at the prestigious Conrad Jupiters Magic Millions Yearling Sale on Saturday 10th January.

All eyes will be on Hope as 'Top Dollar' is sort at the sale, with one hundred percent of the money raised going to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.

'Hope' has performed in Australian Outback Spectacular, alongside experienced show horses since his debut in mid October and has become a valued member of the cast and crew who will be sadly missed!

Hope's debut performance went off without a glitch on Thursday 20 November, as sponsors marvelled at the spectacular performance. Hope performed a number of sequences in the show including the renowned ‘Boys from the Bush Dancing Horses’ requiring the upmost level of discipline and training. A great night was enjoyed by all and sponsors congratulated both Brett and Hope on their tireless efforts and success.

On Saturday 1 November, Hope travelled to his first ever agricultural show in Murwillumbah to compete in the Australian Stock Horse Classes. Hope brought home five (5) ribbons that included the following:
- 1st Place Gentleman Rider
- Reserve Champion – Led Colt
- 2nd place 2YO Futurity
