Assistant Production Manager of Australian Outback Spectacular

Mel started horse riding from the age of four and competed successfully in equestrian events from a young age. She became the first Calamity Jane in the “Western Action Stunt Show” at Warner Bros. Movie World. Melanie was part of the cast from the beginning to the end of the show. She then went on to become one of the animal trainers in Warner Bros. Movie World’s “Animal Actors Stage Show” training animals such as pigs, cats, dogs, horses, miniature horses, and goats.

Mel was then promoted to Assistant Manager of Show and Entertainment at Warner Bros. Movie World and was responsible for the daily running and operation of the Show and Entertainment Department. This incorporated all live shows, licensed Looney Tunes and DC comics characters and all daily street entertainment.

Mel has always had a flair with animals and in her spare time works on television and movie sets as an Animal Trainer and or wrangler.
