Sound Designer of Australian Outback Spectacular

A New Zealander by birth, Kevin qualified as an electrical engineer before moving to Sydney where his company Davidson Audio Services provides sound for indoor and outdoor concerts, special events and dance parties.

Career highlights have included mixing The Rocky Horror Show and Reg Livermore’s Firing Squad, designing and implementing the entertainment sound for the Royal Easter Show, outdoor concerts at darling Harbour and designing the sound of the Colin Bright/Amanda Stuart opera Sinking of the Rainbow Warrior.

In the early nineties, Kevin worked in Singapore on a number of large-scale theatrical and music productions.

Kevin has been a key organiser and sound supervisor of the Blue Mountains Folk Festival since its beginning. He is delighted to combine his talents in music, sound, theatre and computer control systems on Australian Outback Spectacular.
